Aleph conducted an external review of the International Union for Conservation of Nature programme Nature 2030, evaluating its relevance, coherence, effectiveness, efficiency, impact, and sustainability. The review found strong alignment with global conservation goals and a high level of engagement with stakeholders. However, it noted that IUCN’s impact measurement systems were weak, particularly in tracking programme-wide progress. Recommendations included developing a clear Theory of Change, improving results monitoring, and strengthening gender equality and social inclusion strategies.
