What and why?
Anti-corruption programmes are crucial in development for their role in ensuring fair resource allocation, building public trust, and attracting foreign investment. In environments rife with corruption, essential resources are often misdirected, leading to significant inefficiencies and inequalities, particularly in vital sectors like healthcare and education. This hampers sustainable growth and development, and erodes public trust in institutions, creating a sense of disillusionment and instability. Effective anti-corruption measures help restore this trust, ensuring the smooth functioning of democratic systems.
What we do
We have conducted many evaluations in this space, helping to reinforce anti-corruption programmes across Europe, Latin America, Africa and Asia. We have also designed MEL systems for anti-corruption programmes at regional, national and sub-national levels.
