DRC Lebanon sought to identify new programme concepts that leverage internal and external stakeholder expertise and lessons and best practices from the local, regional and global levels to meet the needs of vulnerable youth and empower them to be active participants in their communities.

With this in mind, DRC Lebanon contracted Aleph to support a youth empowerment strategy design process. Specifically, Aleph:

  • Gathered lessons / ideas from DRC and external stakeholders on best practices to engage and support vulnerable youth;

  • Developed a programme framework through a participatory design process including DRC key staff at country, regional and headquarters’ (HQ) level, along with other selected organisations in Lebanon.
