Aleph conducted a final evaluation of the Ensemble Contre la Peine de Mort (ECPM) project, which advocated for the abolition of the death penalty in Central Africa and Southeast Asia. The evaluation assessed the project’s effectiveness in policy advocacy, legal reforms, prisoner rights, and public awareness. The project contributed to legislative progress, judicial capacity-building, and the reduction of death sentences, though challenges remained in securing political engagement and fostering public discourse.
