Aleph conducted a mid-term review of the "For the People" (FTP) programme led by BBC Media Action and funded by NORAD. The programme aimed to raise awareness about climate change and deforestation while improving the rights and livelihoods of indigenous communities in Indonesia. The review found that the programme was on track to meet its objectives, successfully engaging indigenous communities, youth, and policymakers. However, it identified gaps in gender and social inclusion (GESI) strategies, midline data collection, and sustainability planning. Recommendations included strengthening monitoring and evaluation frameworks, refining messaging strategies, and ensuring a clear definition of project impact indicators.
