The North Africa Cultural Programme (NACP) was SDC’s first cultural initiative in the region, supporting youth, emerging artists, and cultural professionals. Phase 1 (2018–2023) aimed to foster intercultural dialogue and artistic expression as drivers of change amid political turmoil, providing crucial support to arts and culture organisations. Aleph Strategies was commissioned to evaluate the NACP, conducting fieldwork in Tunisia, Egypt, and Morocco between November 2022 and January 2023.
