Aleph Strategies conducted a multi-day training workshop in Kabul for the Swedish Committee for Afghanistan to prepare for its strategy design period. The workshop aimed to deepen participants’ understanding of Theory of Change (ToC) in programme design and community development, introduce tools for applying ToC in planning, implementation, and evaluations, and develop a time-bound ToC guideline. Combining presentations, discussions, and participatory exercises, the workshop covered key concepts, emphasized ToC as both a product and process, and highlighted its role in M&E. Designed as a ‘training of trainers’ course, it equipped participants with the knowledge and tools to lead ToC processes within SCA.
