Aleph evaluated a UNESCO-led initiative aimed at sustaining independent journalism in Afghanistan under the Taliban regime. The evaluation highlighted significant successes in content production, journalist safety training, and employment support, but stressed the need for sustained funding and enhanced monitoring of media impact.
